Once upon a time there was a dead man. Helpless on his token back he was no-one's favourite. Still, stranger things do happen between life and death. Once the news wore off, there was nothing more to say. Language had been at livelier parties but then memory is the first one to distort time. Here he was as honest as a lifer.
