giving way

as water
rages between creases
browsed for settlement

lash upon lash

fearful of this smoothed-out stillness

b   r   o   k   e   n

it is I fear a fear of breaking
a poem continuous in discontinuity

so I dance it

surprise it

bite the bleeding arse of it

human radiation circulates as chaos   has its patterning and purpose-filled
consistent hedges motionless and limb aloft you are just you but then might be
an insect reaching out to touch what is an obvious truth splayed out
that I do not and cannot know what things    you see conducted water
irrigates futility outpouring life in lines awaiting tides and floods the melted pot
that brings all things that live and breathe
flip flop to a final halt

I'm done
